While we in the UK we struggle with our consciences over taking holidays abroad, buy low energy light bulbs and try not to leave our TVs on stand-by China are opening two coal powered power stations per week, yet the Chinese people have a carbon footprint 12 times lower than we do in the UK.

To truly have impact on global carbon emissions westerners must alter their purchasing behaviour, to reduce emissions in the East we must reduce consumption in the West but we do not want to reduce our standard of living.

By making functional items like washing machines last longer you instantly reduce the amount of new products sold each year and therefore have a direct impact by saving emissions in producing, packaging, transporting and disposing of new appliances.

Our stated objective is to reduce the amount of washing machines sold each year, not very attractive if your business depends on selling new products. Therefore, we do not sell through conventional retail only outlets and never will.   Our products exclusively sold on line by our sister company UK Whitegoods, environmentally conscious websites or by independent repairers nationwide.

The same network of repairers will install and demonstrate your new machine, subsequently carryout any repairs during and after the guarantee period, with parts held on their vans or available overnight. Giving you a quality of aftercare way in excess of any other manufacturer. Many repairers will even seek to recondition it when you don’t want it anymore.
