D243W Dishwasher

ISE have introduced a new dishwasher and, like our other appliances, it too is built to last. And last.

We thought that our dishwasher should be built to be just as tough, just as well thought out, perform brilliantly and also guaranteed for ten years.

Quite a challenge but the dishwasher is available now.

Appliances that last doesn't mean that they have to be ugly or not user friendly and we waited until we had the right combination of form and function in the brand new dishwasher models with a variant the design we have chosen to use having won a Red Dot Design Award for the high quality design. Our D243 dishwasher is great to look at and gloriously simple to use.

We think it's the best dishwasher ever.

Like our other appliances much of the technology and the quality we have to explain as you do not see it or even realise that it is there and that is fantastic as it makes our machines pleasing and simple to use, not complex, fussy and difficult to use.

But that is the best and most pleasing thing about all the clever technologies that we use, you don't have to think about it, you don't have to even know it's even there. All you need to know is that it works, offers outstanding performance and keeps on working for a long, long time.

Stainless Steel

Of course every single metal part of our dishwasher that comes into contact with water is high quality 18:9 non-magnetic stainless steel. It will never rust. And, it won't wear out.

Unlike many lower quality dishwashers the concept of using steel rather than plastic parts (that break and degrade) is extended to the spray arms, main water feed pipe and other components. All this makes the dishwasher more durable, tougher and better performing over a far longer period.

Like our washing machines and tumble dryers our dishwasher models are designed to exceed a twenty year lifespan of normal domestic use.

Control

The D243 offers a variety of common programs used in everyday washing that just do the job reliably. No fancy gimmicks, no cluttered controls with options that you will most probably never use and a simple control panel and display that is easy to keep clean as well as being crystal clear to use.

We strongly believe in simplicity of use. We don't like complicated controls that are hard to understand and use yet we still want to offer you a degree of flexibility to suit your individual needs.

There are six main programs, including a fully automatic option that will simply work it all out for you all controlled by a capacitive touch panel that offers an estimated program time display and other information with astonishing clarity.

Simply select the program you want to use and press start. Done.

The dishwasher also remembers the last program that you used as, if you are like us, you get a program the you like and suits your needs and use it most of the time so you can just switch the power on and press start. Even easier.

Of course there are other options that you can select to customise your wash such as selecting the use of a soap tablet instead of powder.

Load Capacity

The D243 has the largest load capacity in its class and can accept up to 15 standard European place settings through some more clever design.

Of course this isn't just convenient because you can fit more into the D243 it also means that you have to do less washes. In turn this means you use less water, electricity and detergents so saves needless waste and saves energy and resources. Every time you wash a full load, you save money.

The premium quality baskets are designed to be able to accommodate as much load as possible and have many clever features included like foldable sections to allow larger items to be placed in the dishwasher both on the top and bottom baskets.

The bottom basket rear plate holders fold down, allowing large pots or casseroles to be placed there to get the maximum cleaning power. We say this because at the rear left of the lower basket is a power zone designed to clean those tough to clean items, like a casserole which sprays a powerful jet of water into the items in the area.

Even the cutlery basket has been give some thoughtful design as you can place it anywhere on the front section of the lower basket. In the middle, at either end or anywhere in-between so that you can move it to suit your needs and your wash load.

But, the cutlery separators that we include can also be clipped onto the upper basket offering you even more space for additional cutlery or, for special items that you wish to have washed individually without touching other items at all.

Pre Rinse Cleaning System

Our dishwasher of course gives perfect results and outperforms most others using advanced simplicity and a part of that system is the PCS System that pulses the water in eight short two second bursts before the wash process begins. What this does is remove many of the items that often stick to plates leaving behind residues and gives you better wash results from the dishwasher without having to even think about it or even do anything.

But the system also clears the main filter, before the wash starts so that you start the wash in the best conditions possible meaning you get optimum results every time.

It's simple, just clever.

Another clever feature, you don't have to think about, is the power spray that cleans off the filter in the dishwasher.

Like the power zone it blasts a jet of water to force small items into the main dishwasher filter optimising the cleaning performance of the dishwasher and keeping the filters incredibly easy to keep clean and maintain. Simple. Brilliant.

Child Safety

Unlike any other dishwasher the ISE one has child safety features to keep inquisitive children from playing with your dishwasher or, bringing any harm to themselves.

The first is a simple child lock function on the control panel, simply holding two buttons for a few seconds will lock or unlock the controls. Very quick and easy to use like all the features of this model.

The second is much more unique.

You can optionally set the door to have a child lock function meaning that children that do not know how to open the dishwasher cannot do so.

If you wash sharp kitchen knives or delicate items this is great as you don't have to worry about children getting into the dishwasher and playing with items that they could break or, worse, injure themselves with.

And, for large knives we have also included a special area for them in the upper basket so that they are not pointing upwards presenting any danger.

Noise Reduction

We realise that very often people want lower noise levels from their appliances and we have accommodated by build in better noise reduction than most. Of course this is helped by using quality materials in the first instance but our D243 has a mere 44db(A) noise rating.

It may well be the quietest dishwasher you've never heard.

Turbofan Drying

Many dishwashers use an element around the base of the dishwasher and rely on latent heat in the crockery to dry the dishes. This is wasteful and not really very efficient, it gives patchy results often leading to streaking and so on so, we don't do that.

We use a fanned drying system that blows air over the load evenly giving much better drying results getting your dishes dry, perfectly, every single wash.

The fan system blows hot air around the dishes gently drying them which is better for the items you wash and gives better results. Even typically hard to dry items see a significant benefit. But glasses especially where you will notice the power of the wash and drying performance as they are cleaned and dried to perfection.
